another fuel line ? for Don Fairchild

hi sorry to bother you, i looked at my set up, using the cradle from a 80 5c , and the engine is a 78 8v71 ta, i have 3 ports on the left head, and 2 on the right , there are 2 lines between the heads, and the one open port on the left head, and the 2 on the pump, and the r r open port, rite now i have the supply going to the primary filter , going to the fuel pump, then a line leaving the pump going to the top of the secondary, on the secondary housing and filter there are 3 ports in total, can you help

It sounds like yours is set up like a truck. If it is then Your supply from the tank to the primary to the pump then to the secondary is correct. The lines from sides of the secondary will go to each head you will have a crossover from one head to the other and the return can be from the front or the back of the head.

thanks don, the engine was from a military fire truck, i will post some pics tonite im still left with a line from the secondary, and the line on the rr head
