I have just finished gluing on my new Kemlite sides with Sikaflex adhesive.

I have run out and need to order somemore to adhere my side gutters on, I have heard the Home Depot sell a roof and gutter sealant that works goo for this purpose as well.

Does anyone have experience with this, and does it bleed down in the hot weather?

I have not used the P&L but the DAP roof and gutter  that I have is not an adhesive, it is a sealant! I use it on things I may have to remove.  HTH Jim

PL makes afull line of sealants and adhesives. 1of these is PL Polyurethane Adhesive. It is SIMILAR to Sikaflex, but not the same.  Use at your own risk.  I would take the time to order more SikaFlex.  Jack

Personally I HAVE used the P&L when I couldn't get the outdated Sikaflex to come out of the tube. I was installing a window that has NO frame. The window was out, bus was parked in a not so good area and it was beginning to drizzle and dark at the same time. I had no choice! Susan went to HD and got the P&L. It worked great and because we are located in Florida where the sun is very hot in the summer, I had my doubts but so far, so good, and that was two years ago! Glass may be a different issue than a steel panel!

I agree with Jack,

Order the Sikaflex. I have used P&L stuff with good results, but I wouldn't mix brands. I have never used Sikaflex, but have heard it's the best.

Dreamscape; there are better products out there they just cost more.Sika-lastomer-46 is a great putty for installing window that is the only Sika product I use. If  you ever need sealants and adhesive try these folks www.ellsworth.com they will have a location close to you (and they sell Sika products too)   have a great day

Everybody but me! ;)

I didn't have to reskin so I saw no reason to try the stuff. When I change out my windows to RV type maybe I'll give it a try.

Thanks for the advice anyway makemineatwostroke!
