After a frenzy summer of fixing up super Betty to use her....which we have taken her on 4 wonderful trips, and a 5th trip is planned soon.  Looking into our near future of families and lives....we are considering parting with our bus for a few years.  The getting something else to fix up when we are ready.  We discussed it over many of beers.....cases of beers, and just think if we don't use it for a few years, its not going to be good on it.  She needs to have the wind blow across her nose, and hear the sounds of race cars in in the distance.  Seems kind of silly, i know, after we got her all fixed up, other than the interior isn't exactly complete, but usable, just needs finished.  It would be cool if she went to a newbie on the board so i could keep track of her.  Does any one know of anyone looking for a nice little bus?  We're not advertising it, just looking to send her to a nice home.  Were not leaving the bus world, we're taking a short break....call it a red flag, for now.

Greg,

If I had any money I would be interested, but... as a moderator I have to remind everyone that MAK makes his living and the livelihood of the magazine and this website depend on advertising.

Now, the rough part is said, lets go on from there..

You have a decent coach in the making there, I hope someone can give it a good home and you'll always be welcome here.. heck, we even welcome people with Eagles and Fageols and GMC's and AM Generals!

I even know of one nice fella that has a Stick and Staple and another that has an Air Stream and even, (Get This)...another who has a Setra!

Good luck!

I'll never leave....i might not be the most outspoken....but I read a lot, and learn a lot just from reading what everyone else has to say and what they are doing.  Like I said, we are just taking a little break and it could be 2 years or 5...who knows.  But in the mean time, we'll be collecting knowledge for the next one.....and there WILL be another.  I like the MCI's.  And our little super Betty draws a lot of attention anywhere we take her!!!

Well, after another successful trip in Super Betty, we have come to that final decision.  Unfortunately, we are going to part with her.  We took her the BGSU homecoming football game to tailgate and party it up with the Falcons last Friday, Saturday and sunday.  She was a success and the center of attention, but we are still going to let her go to a good home.  She hums along at a gliding speed of 63 mph, if any busser out there in the wonderful bus world is interested or knows someone who is...let me know.  We don't really want to use that BAY thing to part with her.....like to keep in personable!  I want to keep hearing about everyone elses trips so keep it up.

Thanks and a good bussing to all.

Greg.
