Wow! I am finally back on the board!  ;D  It's nice to have a job where you can goof off most the day.  I don't think I have been on here since the rally at the cove last July.  Although we have two computers in the room Brandon seems to hog mine and since he is attached to the board 24/7 it makes it difficult for me to get on.   ;)

So I am looking for a little help here.  Next Friday will be the first time out for the bus since the trip last year.  Anyone who saw our project ...saw...well...a couple coolers and sleeping bags as our interior.  I am trying to get an idea of what I need.  Brandon has all the mechanical stuff covered but of course I am left with the "household" end.  I know general of things we need..plates, eating utensils, blankets, towels...etc.  But I know there is always something I forget and something I won't think  ::) of so anything you can enlighten me to would be great!

Hope to see you in Oct!

Hi Stranger!  Good to see you on here again.

Are you going to be doing any cooking or just snack type stuff?  I would take a couple of jugs of water, just in case.  Take plenty of trash bags, mostly paper stuff for eating unless you just want to wash dishes. Take an extra set of clothing, even if you are positive you won't need it.  Take Sadie's vet information including proof of rabies shots.  Phone chargers, fans, lots and lots of paper towels and toilet paper. Insect repellent, sunscreen, lotions for soothing skin  because neither of those worked properly.

Yep! I'm back, hopefully for a while.  Cooking depends on the grill...lol. I don't know if I see it getting put under the bus in time or not. I have already decided to take water but those were actually to wash my hair since I take too much time in the shower (not what you were talking about but hey I'm blonde now, give me a break, lol) I would not have even thought about Sadie's information.  Of course we can't go without her, she would never let that happen!

Thanks so much...my list just got a lot longer!

Tenor

Air hose and air tools and air chuck.  Tools tools tools!  Laundry hamper/garbage bag.  Electric fan, extension cords, voltmeter (did I say tools tools tools?), BOTTLE OPENER for when tools are needed and liquid refreshment must be opened.  Long reach lighter for grill (and to light your bus on fire after liquid refreshment(s).  Sense of fun.  Sense of adventure.  Sense of masochism (the bus is a sadist itself!).

Duct tape will work if you forget toilet paper. :o   Toilet paper will not work if you forget duct tape! ;D

Have fun!!

Toilet paper?

What happened to going before you leave?

Room full of folks "in between"?

When we are younger, we remember to get the children to go before we go...
The we get to the "in between" age, for awhile, when we don't need to remember...

Then we get to the age when we have to remember, for ourselves!

Anyway, never mind the list, whatever you don't take, is what you'll need.

happy coaching!
