I have a friend that has 24 volt headlamps in his mc5 and refused to change to 12 volt. but now he needs to purchase several. any body know where?  HELP! :-\

thanks guys but NAPA and atlanta lamp is a no go.. the other guy hasn't had any for 3 years and has no idea where to get them. guess I am still looking oh well...

I do not have a headlight problem now, but anticipate one in the future, so I am very interested if you find a good source of 24v sealed beams.  I guess it would be a good idea to have a set around.  I know there are aircraft bulbs, usually listed as 28volt that will fit, but probably have the wrong light pattern and may be illegal.  The upgrade the Lee suggested looks nice and is not priced that badly.  However, it is not a direct replacement for sealed beams.

I bought my 24 volt bulbs from Holt Catilapilator and it was just wagner bulbs reboxed for them but they were cheaper than napa i dont rememeber the numbers for the bulbs.

NAPA list their 24v headlights as 28v I have a friend that buys for his MCI there

MCI also has them! When Captain Ron needed some several yrs ago we found them at the MCI Service centr in Lebanon, TN. FWIW

When looking for 24 volt you may also ask for 28 volt as that is what I bought last time.

Sorry the name just sticks in my head! Also it's what it says on the CD i got!

PS: I got a friend who wants a copy of yer CD. (ya I got friends other than you, I ain't like "Skippy" LOL!)
Anyway rather than be a sorry cheap A$$ (by burning one off mine! LOL! Besides I know ya gotta pay for fuel & the production of 'm some way!)! I told him I'd get one from ya or have ya send him one direct! ;D  BK  ;D
