Well, I guess this is kinda on topic because this refrigerator is in my shop. My shop refrigerator has a problem-EVERYTHING FREEZES (even in the refrigerator compartment with refrigerator temperature on the warmest setting).  It is a Crosley refrigerator and I cannot find a manual for it online. So I guess this question is for Nick or some other refrigerator type person.  Would this be a bad temperature control assembly?  thanks in advance, Jack
PS: The problem with our bus refrigerator (house type) icing up was a bad defrost timer. After testing defroster thermostat and heating element, we replaced the timer. 2 weeks now and still no ice build-up.

Jack, obviously, you don't remember that Cody and I installed an anti-brownout/blackout/hurricane thermostat on your frig last winter so that nothing would spoil  for at least a week, when or if the power went out.  that would give paula time to hit all the garage sales in the area looking for a replacement, or to cook up all the frozen food.

Hi Jack,

It sounds like the t-stat.. {if there is no major ice build-up on the evap coil}

Unplug the refrig, remove the thormostat, use a continuity tester and clip it on the two prongs of the stst.

Then turn the knob both ways, you should have an "open reading" one way and a "Closed Reading the other way"

If it stays closed, then the stat is bad.

Find an appliance parts supplier and go there with the Mo# and Ser# to match another.

Good Luck
