Haven't heard a thing!

I sure hope Freds OK........

He's one of a kind and I really enjoy talking to him every time I see him.

Our best wishes to Him for a speedy recovery.

On a lighter note:

Ace, if this is what one of your calls will do, don't call me anytime soon....... ;D

Bob,
Please let us know. I think it would be better if Caroline only received a single phone call rather than everyone calling at this time.  We will keep them in our prayers. I know Fred pushes himself way to hard, but he just plain enjoys working hard.  Jack

Herer is the reply I got to an email I sent to Carolyn Hobe (the reply was received 7/3):  Yes and he is doing well and will be home tomorrow, in fact he was upset he could not come home today. He will answer when he gets here. Carolyn

I just spoke with Fred, the 'old Curmudgeon', and he's at home...arrived home today. The Dr's say he did some real damage to the lower part of his heart and cannot do anything for 2 weeks. Surgury might be around the corner.

Now, the fact that he was swinging a 20 Lb sledge hammer breaking concrete in 100+ degree weather shouldn't have had any effect on him....but the Dr's said that because of the fact that he's been so active for so long was in his favor.

He'd be happy to hear from you at 850-929-4021.

Thanks Jack!
Praise the Lord he coming out of the hospital to be with his love (Carolyn).

Is any one really surprised that Fred wanted to be home on the 4th instead of in a hospital?

Best wished to Fred and good luck to his family on holding him down for those two weeks!!!

Happy Independence Day! Remember our current and past men and women who have served in the Armed Forces. They are the reason behind our opportunities!!!

When he is out of the hospital...he needs the calm & rest with very limited phone calls for a while to regain his strength. It will happen again if he does not recuperate properly. After all...no matter how hard we been working, it will slow you down as we get older from stiffness & chest pains. I be the first to say that it will never happen to me...but now after operation having two stents back of my heart, I am no where near the strength as of 3 years ago.

Fred is a soft hearted man with a lot of ambition to do conversions and help other bus nuts with conversion problems.

In my book, Fred Hobe is "Mr Bus Conversion" and a great family man.

PS..added Fred & family to my prayer list.

Is Fred Hobe the same as FastFred?
Thanks
