I just discovered yesterday that one of my stock MC9 tinted windows is
starting the crack on the outer sheet of the laminated glass.

I figured out what did it too... I had a foil faced insulation sheet on the inside to keep the heat and light out. The foil reflects the heat back into the glass.

Way too hot to touch for long in direct sunlight even from outside.
The IR showed 190 degrees at the surface.

The dark tint absorbs the heat and if you reflect that heat back to the glass
it can be affected.
