I have a question when I start to wire my bus is the 50 amp 110 or 220?

Usually 220, but you should check with a meter before pluging in.

Welcome!

50 amps service is 230 volts, however, most RV wireing uses 115 volts by utiltizing one leg from each side of the 230 volt 50 amp supply.

230 volts comes from 2 legs of 115 volts but to produce 230, the legs have to be 180 degrees out from each other. [or Phazed]

A 50 amp RV can use 2 legs of 115 volts from the same phaze as long as none of your appliances require 230 volts.

And a main thing to remember that you get two 50 amp, 120 volt legs, for a total of 100 amps from a 50 amp 240 volt system. And it really is 240 volts and 120 volts for those purists. LOL

Another thing to remember, based on my last week replacing some electrical components that I let the smoke out of, is don't expect intelligent electrical assistance from most RV partsmen.  I had them tell me that RV 50 amp service wasn't really 240 volt, that what I really needed was 30 amp and that 50 amp cords were too expensive (they were right on that count but what else is new?)
