Anybody headed towards De. from S.C.?

Anybody coming from SC. towards Delaware? I have a bunch of oil at Gary Labombards house and need to get it where I'm at or closer. I've run out of time and money and have invested a couple thousand dollars and all winter on this project. I kinda got a double whammy pulled on me. I was planning on running down there on WVO this week on a test run and get the oil but the oil I was promised from somebody was bad oil. Then I was going to do him a favor and pick up something for him in N.C. this past Monday and go on down to get my oil, kinda helping him him helping me but that went sour. So now I'm stuck. I really need to get this out of Gary's yard.

My 2 cents concerning a little ribbin -

It is one thing when in good fun.
It is different when it hurts someone.

It really tells something about ones true self when done to intentionally hurt & belittle someone.

It occurs to me that if someone was your friend (or you wanted them as one) you wouldn't intentionally do things to hurt & belittle. Especially after you know.


That's how I see it.

A little "Ribbin" from someone like yourself that has been banned from this board twice in a year you see as ok? Seems to me that if you had

any intention of showing respect to the members of this comunity, you would avoid "Ribbing" at all costs no matter who you are

able to pick on.

Since you feel that ribbing on Gary LaBombard is OK knowing that you both had differences in the past, then I will repost your words back here so all can evaluate..

OK I'll be the first one to jump in on this! Heck Gary doesn't like me anyway so it won't matter, but Charlie, I was going to say, if you find that you can't pick up all that oil, not all is wasted! Gary could use it as a "rust prohibiter" ! Just brush or spray it on! LOL

It seems I'm not the only one to see it as you taking advantage of any chance you get to spin certain people up.

Each & every one of us here have a reputation that precedes us that tints or places a certain light on what we say - It occurs to me that if someone really doesn't like the way their reputation is perceived, they should modify their behaviour. That modification can include compassion & kindness -OR-  hostility & belligerence.

I too have seen some other post things I disagreed with & I responded with my typical "word play". In several cases, the person I challenged sent me PM's & we re posted showing contrition. That shows what character they have.

We all occasionally stumble & fall.
It is how we get up that that defines who we are - not how we fall.

Ok here, how's this. Since certain people have really touchy feelings and they get hurt pretty easy, I'll retract my "ribbin" and say I'm sorry! Geesh, what gets me, it was bus related too! How many post get past or questioned that are NOT bus related? I once thought this was a bus forum!

Gary is one of the truly nicest and giving people on this board. His feelings are sometimes easily hurt and you know that so you should refrain from any comments to or about him or his bus. It's just a respect thing.

I still appreciate you're point of view BS(ACE) and am glad to see you on the board.  I haven't checked, but maybe you could start a new thread on updates to your bus?  I know you've thought of things that others of us have not.
