Hi folks, in the May edition, page 59 under new products they talk about a new fangled Alternator.  Have they changed alternators so much they look like starters now?
That is a starter pictured...right?

That's one of them new-fangled gear reduction alternators.  The solonoid is only activated when the batteries need charging and then it charges.  Saves fuel.
