Roof air, afterthought

Roof airs are fast and cheap, also I did not want to give up the bay space for an AC unit. When I did my conversion splits were not an option.
Anyway I am sitting here listening to my ducted roof airs roaring away and the light bulb went off. Why did I not duct the incoming air also??
Its too late for me now, but other than space considerations is there any reason the incomeing air could not be ducted, forced around a few turns like I did with the genset? Does this sound practical, is it a dumb idea?

Hi Jim,

Most newer MH's and Trailers are ducted roof units. They construct the duct chase into the design of the coach roof.

It does quiet down the air noise a bit but not much on the hum and vibration of the roof unit.
