rebuilt trans price

had the trans 644mt rebuilt with a new valvebody, new ps pump, rear main seal. paid $7,900.00
is that  a fair price?

with them removing the transmission ,installing a rear seal and power steering pump I don't think it's all that bad the average exchange price for the transmission is around $3000.00
