Do any of you guys know where I can get some help on the history of this setup I am try to put a article together and the only information and pictures I can find are at the Trailways site called Bus Memories.  Great site about old buses and good music too if anybody knows of another site please let me know  thanks  PS I cannot make a link work to the site above

Thanks I found the prototype of my Eagle but mine has stainless siding and single headlights but has the euro cap and a single door  look at memories 4 and photo 585 and tell me what you think you won't hurt my feeling  that is a good site for all bus people  thanks again guys

the old girl was ready to fly 38 years ago thanks for the info and a great site but the music stops when looking at the pictures( bummer)

unless your writing for a Eagle only Publication.....you might want to consider including the several Turbine MCI's that were made.  Although I know about the Eagle I don;t think I have ever seen any brochures or info published on it, where there were several published thiings on the MCI's

Tekebird I know about the MCI7 are there others I will not leave you guys out got a question for you did they ever use those for revenue service.The Eagle turbine was used between New York and LA

I believe the Grayhound turbines were GM rather than the Ford turbines in the trailways. I remember seeing an MC7 with turbine and a diesel powered both at the light.  The turbine powered just dusted the diesel powered-but fuel mileage is not good with turbines, since they use almost as much at idle as with full power.  Good Luck, TomC
