Would two inside units be enough, ya think?
Total of 24,000 BTU?
Maybe three? 36000?
cover me, or overkill?

I wonder how loud these things are.

Everyone else, turn your head for a second....

Nick- for cost reasons- why couldn't you take a roof top unit (like the Carrier low pro for space savings), mount it on a shelf in the baggage compartment and duct the fresh air and duct condenser air?  Roof tops are about $700.00 and the basements are at least 2 to 2.5 times that.  I'm thinking you could.  What do you think?  Good Luck, TomC

Sure Tom,

That could be done. That would take some of my fancy metal work to get it to breath properly..

But, The dometic basement HP's are not much more then the roof tops as you can find on my web site.

Thanks
Nick-

Chaz,

You need to lookinto the mini's.  They are near silent and amt to little more than a 3 inch thick 2x2foot picture....without the picture.  The RV stuff has an inflated BTU rating so 12,000 BTU of house spected BTU performs 50 to 100% better than an RV.  Nick has said that the house stuff is not "ruggedized" like the RV stuff.  I am sure he is correct but I wonder how much that matters.  The house stuff is cheaper.  You will have to look for the 115V stuff and research reliability.  I can tell you that Nick told me my GOODMAN HP  purchase would be a nightmare and it is/was.  Don't consider that brand.

Do a search on MINISPLIT, MINI SPLIT and you should find KNUTS that have installed these things and swear by them.  You can't be anything but satisfied in your dealings with Nick.  Keep bugging him, I'm sure that will pay off ;D ::)

Lettuce know,
