I managed to finish putting siding on the passenger side.....as the temperatures rise I become more active, the truth is i feel like a groundhog coming out for the first time. I hate winter and snow and cold and rain, rust, dirt and honey do's! Check the link at the bottom for pictures.......I'm probably more excited than I should be just bare with me! Spring has this affect on me.

Hey I used to get all exited when I finished anything or started anything. Everyday the UPS truck showed up was like Xmas.  But I did not know how to post pictures of my work.

Remarkable work!  There are very few folk that could complete a project such as you've done.
Great job!
You'll love those new windows!

Great site with lost of inspiring pix!

I went through the whole blog, and I'm now envious. There are so many things that I want to do with/to our 4103, and I lack most of the skills and tools. I do, however want to learn.

Can't wait to see more!

Ron, I've used this bus a thousand times in my feeble mind and the trips were great!

Nick, after this bus is finished I'm officially retired! Honey do's only! Those should keep me busy for years to come!

JR, this bus isn't finished yet..... :'(, its had me down and pinned! At times I ask my self if a normal person would even attemp this......for the life of me I couldn't figure out why! I do enjoy working in my shop and its great having a project.....to keep me busy.....! My second passion is collecting books......I can't wait to start coloring in them!

John, you mentioned tools.....I had few before I started this project, I find myself addicted to tools........by the time I'm finished I will have a decently supplied work shop!

Thanks for the comments, sorry I'm so slow, but I was always told, "slow work takes time"!  The majority of my time is thinking about how to do things and in what order they need to be accomplished......that's the reason I bought the new shiney wheels as the first purchase........! ;)

Pat,

The bus sure is coming together nicely for you.  Great craftsmanship there buddy.  I too have been bowing at the spring goddess of mother nature for getting the temperature up for us.  Keep up the good work there and you will be driving her down the road before you know it.  ;)
I have had a minor setback myself.  I fell down the basement steps and broke a bone in my ankle.  Unfortunately crutches sure make climbing a ladder rough ...lol..... I think I would have felt better about it if I had fell off of the bus though ...lol.... at least it would have been bus related ...lol...
Keep plug-in away at her Pat, shes looking good....... 8) 8) 8)

Steve sorry to hear about your accident, I've been through crutches several times they are not fun at all!  If the broken bone isn't weight bearing ask them for a walking cast.........! This weather is looking up I have to agree, when the temps make it above 50F its great bus working weather. I need to spend a couple of days this week working in the yard cleaning up the winter messes. I have 3 projects I started last spring that have been on hold while I was recuperating from my surgery that I have to finish this year or the wife will turn the bus into a dog house for me! ;) Steve I looked at your site and that chassis work is looking great it won't be long and you will be right there, no one is going to sit around and listen to your Eagle rust.......you are definately doing the right thing!
