Welcome to the board. All right you guys, this your chance to perform.

Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body. But rather to skid in sideways, chocolate in one hand, a good Reisling in the other, body thoroughly used up, totally worn out and screaming:  WOO HOO, what a ride

I read this thread a few times, and even went to the other board to see if more info was available.

What I'm looking for is a "sense of urgency" for this posting.  Initially my thought that "PD4104 down in NH" was indicating an on-the-road breakdown.  Someone who was far from home and stuck somewhere.

The more I study this, I wonder if maybe the person posting is just indicating they want to find a local mechanic in their home area.  The linkage on a 4104 and a failure to air-up would appear to be two completely unrelated issues.  They would both disable a bus and prevent it from moving. What are the chances they both happened at the same stop while out of the road?

Is this somebody broke down on the side of the road and needs immediate assistance?  Or, has this bus been sitting in a driveway for 6 months and he is asking for a recommendation for a shop?   Two different situations.
If you're going to be dumb, you gotta be tough.

there was a guy in NH who had a blue 4104 with oversize injectors, which he then sold the bus to a new member here (last summer/spring?). The bus was for sale for awhile at GMBUSguy.com, The original owner seemed to have a good working knowledge of 4104s and access to parts etc in NH.  Perhaps the new member (can't remember who) could chime in with the original guys info etc....

I guess I should clarify what I am looking for. No I am not broken down along side the road. What I am looking for is a quality mechanic to do the work in my area with knowledge of a PD 4104.
