Hightech, the yahoo groups are ok but a real web site with the information available would be so much better for us owners.
Yup, I know what you mean about the yahoo groups, I am in the RTS, DD and a few others.  Like you, I enjoy web based forums more.  The organization of threads is much easier to follow.

   Hello!
I was wondering what I was in for when I came to check my post! I was happy to see some favorable responses to my web site idea! I'd also like to see the Eagle Site get a great start as I have always Loved them dearly. I thought seeing the Silver Eagle as a kid was impressive but buddy, when I saw a Golden Eagle it was all over for me then! I was bitten by the bus bug which there is no cure and it's a terminal illness! And on top of that there's the car bug, the military vehicle bug... I always thought a Golden Eagle was just a Silver Eagle with a bathroom! Pretty stupid kid but I still don't know the difference! I know it probably has a fancier interior and trim but my favorite is that Gold exterior trim! And of course, there's the Golden Eagle perched on the front! Kind of gives you goose bumps huh? It probably had a bigger engine with an automatic too.
I don't have any problems with that other guy on that other site except that he had no reason whatsoever to have pulled my post other than the fact that he felt threatened maybe. I am not a dealer and this is not a business. I play with vehicles as a hobby, for the Love of it. I built the DCC sight as a kind of portfolio of my work. Anybody can say they had this vehicle or did that but I can prove it and "It Ain't Bragging If You Have It And Can Do It"!  Too bad I'm broke and can only do them one at a time! Then I have to sell them as I can't keep them due to storage any way. If I only had a big barn or maybe an old warehouse somewhere!
I started DCC when I stopped to help this guy on the side of I-65S change a tire on his Mercedes. I was pretty sure who I was talking to immediately but I was cool about it and went on about my business. Well, it was George and Nancy Jones and when The Opossum shook my hand, he had obviously greased my palm so to say but I didn't even look and put the bill in my pocket. It was a hundred dollars. I took a photograph of it because I knew that it would last longer than the bill would! If you ever see "No Show", ask him about the time a guy in a black 6 Door Lincoln Town car stopped to help him as I'm pretty sure he won't forget it but you can bet that I won't!
To condense a very long story... With the intentions of one day owning a stainless motor coach, I bought a hundred dollar '84 Camaro from a friend of mine and buddy it wasn't worth it either! I worked on it for days and days and sold it for $450.00, after putting more than a grand of my time in it! I've since worked on about a dozen cars over about a six year period to get to where I could get a Motor Coach with basically only my labor and a minimum cash investment. I couldn't get the Prevost I wanted but I got the second best thing! Too bad I can't afford it either!
I traded "Anne The Anihilator", a red Jaguar XJS V-12 Convertible, for the Crusader. I had rescued it from it's idiot owner and spent over 200 hours on restoring it and getting it to my caliber of detailing. My first Jaguar XJS V-12 belonged to the father of Tanya Tucker's youngest daughter and it was clearly evident when I first saw it that money can't buy brains as Jerry Lasseter doesn't have any for letting that car go down like that! But "Irena" is another 160+ MPH story. And with all those idiots in the world, they'll be plenty of cars to have a chance to save. I've always said that Neglect Goes A Long Way.
I will apply my obvious passion for vehicles to make the bus web site work for everybody! Please send any photos you will let me put on the site. Also include the info as you want it on your page. I might forward the domain name to an exsiting site so I can get it up and running until I can set up the permanent site. Send your photos to: jeffsmagicbus@aol.com. The larger the better, the more the merrier! You might also include how you want me to title your page.
Sorry for the eBook if you're still awake.
                                                        Take Care,
                                                                       Jeff :)

That's Anne The Anihilator Sitting In Tulsa After Pulling An All Nighter Getting There! A Buddy Of Mine And I Arrived At About 1:30 am and we had a police helicopter hovering over us for some reason. I guess they thought we were going to strip her in the warehouse district we were in or something! There probably weren't too many, if any, red $70,000.00 Jaguars around. After having no sleep for hours I almost shined my mag-lite on them but the bus guy said he didn't think it was a good idea. I don't think they would have thought it was as humerous as I thought it was.
I'll never forget thinking how big she was! It was not really scary but it was a little spooky and a bit intimidating! I checked the hubometer and was pretty happy to see that it only had 468,000 thousand miles on it! I thought hey, it's got half a life left! Something made me go at that time and get a flashlight... There is a Bus God people as the Hubometer has a tenths position! I was weak in the kness when I realized she had 46,800* on it! It didn't make it any less intimidating though. She had been in limbo for a few years but had been started once a month or so and driven around some to keep her up. She was needing a detailing to say the least! I spent 10 hours hand washing it and another solid tens hours hand waxing and polishing it to get it looking like it needed detailing! (A Father's Work Is Never Done!)

She Was A Fast Machine, I Kept Her Motor Clean... Kind Of Like The Beauty And The Beast!

If you can keep a Jag running, you won't have any problems with a bus. ;D

Go for it Jeff!

Some will like it, some will not. But it's your Baby, give it birth and see how she grows.

I agree with luvrbus on Yahoo sites. If I could afford one for Eagles I would do it, plus having the dedicated time to give it. A structured webiste is best to keep things organized and quick, easy topic searches. I have a Texas Eagle Owner site on Yahoo, not the best I agree. It's mostly for folk that own Eagles to share information.

I will check it out when you get it going.

Good Luck,

Paul
