Hi Folks,

We are expirencing some memory problems and from time to time you may not be able to open the site.

Phil Lyon's is working on problem and we hope to have it fixed soon.

Major hardware changes will be happening over the next 1 - 2 weeks.  We will be moving to a completely dedicated server as we have completely outgrown any kind  of shared hosting plan.  This has all happened w/in a space of less than 2 years.  We started with the most basic of web hosting plans, moved up several levels, then to virtual dedicated, and now to a totally dedicated server.    This site's success is due to the high caliber & classiness of the best bunch of bus nuts anywhere.       And a HUGE thanks to our moderating team.

And of course, thanks to Mike Kadletz for supporting all our bus habits w/ bus $$.

New hardware has arrived at the hosting center.  Next step will be the software installation.

Yes - we did run out of resources again this evening!  Server had to be restarted.  With the new hardware these problems will be gone, gone, gone - well, at least until we outgrow the next server.

We may be noticing the board slowing up at times daily.

RC,

I'm not sure what your getting from the thread but, we are in the process of moving to a deticated server for this web site.

We are currently shareing this server with other sites and we are maxxing out on resources.

The upgrade to the new server is scheduled for this upcoming Friday night, April 4th.   Currently, the MAK / and regular areas of the web site have been completed (classifieds, etc).  Remaining to do is all the BBS & chat systems.
