Chris, I have used the 12 R 22.5 for years and never had a problem with them they give a nice soft ride my bus is a Eagle and the tire just added to the ride  some say they stink (smell) but I have never had that problem with mine over the years   have a good day

Those M111 tires appear to be like a Michelin XZE or Goodyear G169-regional tire with highway speed.  Will be fine- but if you drive a lot of miles, the tire will probably start to cup on the edges around 70,000 miles.  Good Luck, TomC

Tom, I use the m111z and have never had a problem with cupping.I know you are a big Michelin fan but I have never had good luck with the tire.I dislike the tire so much when I helped my son get his new trucks we paid extra for a different brand of tire on the trucks.But thats  just my way

I've always been a Michelin fan but the guy that just changed my tires, Joes Truck tires, said that most of the on road service he does is for Michelins that blew out.  Now maybe there are so many Michelins on the road that he sees more of them, but who knows.  He likes goodyears a lot.  Just another perspective.

don't know about the M111 but I have six TOYO M122 11R22.5  14 ply tires that have about 10K mi on them and so far they are great.

They are actually all position truck tires but I got them so I could find another on the road if necessary. They seem to be a very common truck size according to my tire dealer who says he sells more of these than any other.

No stink from these tires.

I have owned a set of TOYO M104 tires (11R 22.5) that gave me great service and would buy them again.  I don't want to tell you how many years I stretched out of them.

Interestingly, I also spent 5 hours today in the plant where they are manufactured.  The brand new ones I saw, and my old ones, don't smell any different than any other tire to me.

I was introduced to Toyo tires in the mid 1980's, when (I think) they were first offered in the US, in 235/80/16, which is what I used on my 1 ton, tow trucks.

I noticed even back then, that Toyo's smelled kinda...strong.

the 12r tires are the ones that smell, they are not made domestically.

I had some on the drives of my MC-8 and they certainly did smell, we teased that there is a 10% horseshit component in them

they are now gone....good tire though

I have 127s $290 and 147s $380 and I like them almost as well as my $500 Bridgestone 280s. I think they are a quality tire. Very dependable and long wearing.
