Guy's;

I am looking for some 3-53's and 4-53 rebuildable engines. I don't pay much for them but I need about 5 3;s and 20 4's  any ideas where I could look.

Thanks in advance

Don

Ned; I have one 4-53T you could use. Saw a post from you the other day about breaking heads. Did you ever try some of the things I suggested to try to get some more cooling for the engine.

Don, when you go to Houston start looking at the Hobbs NM and the Midland Odessa area all the drilling contractors had a yard full of them a couple years back. Karl a friend of mine bought a low hour 671 in-line from a driller in Hobbs for 500 bucks 2 years ago I'll check around on the coast and see what I can find for you    good luck

The bus has been out one time since Tenn.  Still looking for a way to turn the turbo and add a inter cooler.

All i do now is keep my foot out of it and it does fine,just don't try to be the first to the top of the hill.

Can you imagine driving the van with a 4/53 sitting beside you. Bet ron would not ride with me. Look forward to seeing you again in my travels.

Don, I know you have tried Delaney's and Valley for good cores.  Seems the oil patch rebirth may be springing loose good used or rebuildable stuff as they upgrade to much newer equipment. Can I have a hopped up aluminumumumm 353TI for my pickup?  :) :) :)

Ned;if your flintstone mobile has room for a big radiator and charge cooler we could DDEC it and run 277hp with a Allison MH3000, Bet Ron would ride in it then. course you'd have to beef up the front end some.

Henry; I have tried all my contacts in Bake o and have not found any I could afford. Some people think they are gold.

Yo Don-How're ya doin?  Have you tried the rail yards?  I know that many of the refrigeration units used 2-71's and I have seen also 3-53's.  What are you doing with those dinosaurs?  More smog experiments?  Good Luck, TomC
