The public service auction site http://www.publicsurplus.com/sms/browse/cataucs?catid=411
has several RTS busses for sale in NM. these appear to have come from the City of Albuquerque.

Does anyone have any experience of these busses?. Anyone familiar with how they were maintained? And most important is there anyone who could take a look at them, or knows a mechanic who could take a look?

Thanks...Paul

no experience with the firm or the agency...however keep in mind thst you will not have the opportunity to inspect the bus like you would if it were a private sale......bid accordingly

I would think you could go and look and ask all the questions you want to at the Alb bus garage

I can't tell you about all of the buses but the Albuquerque buses I know a little about them.

Yes it says by appointment only but that will not tell you anything about the service or other information.

Those buses are serviced by the bus garage and major repairs are usually done by Stewart and Stevenson and Charlie (the service manager) at S&S could be a good source of information as well as the mechanics that do the regular service.

Just my dos centavos YMMV
