Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body. But rather to skid in sideways, chocolate in one hand, a good Reisling in the other, body thoroughly used up, totally worn out and screaming:  WOO HOO, what a ride

Got it.

Not trying to be picky here, there were 3 PD 4501's yesterday, just one showing on this thread????????
Thanks

Votes have to be cast over on this thread.  (afaik, there isn't a way anyone can transfer the votes over from the other)  Some haven't done that yet.  So right now, their chads are left hanging in the other thread  ;D .

Now I'm really confused, first I am told not to vote again, then I am told to vote again.  Which is it?

If your page do not show "buttons" to click on then you already voted in.

Never mind the old one. It should have been removed from this board to prevent confusion.

I know it gets confusing. Here's a couple of virtual Aspirins to relieve any discomfort.   :) :)

Please only post if you have been left out and don;'t have a place to vote.  This list should be a bit better

When Tekebird posted that, I think he was asking people to only make a post to the thread if their bus type wasn't listed in the poll.

Quote from: Dallas on February 14, 2008, 04:54:38 PM

Jack,

If the poll is started over, the previous results are lost and some of the ones who made them will not post again. Ya, I know it's a big bummer, but hey, on this board, you get whatcha pay for!

At the time that Dallas posted that, the other thread was still alive and he was making the point that if it "started over" (in other words, this newer poll replaced it) that the previous results would be lost and some people might not come to the new poll to vote.  Since his post, the other thread has been locked and this is the "official" poll.  As Dallas had observed, the votes were not transferable.

I know it is confusing.  But the first poll was missing too many models to be useful and Tekebird was having some technical difficulties with adding more options.  And I'm not sure the forum software would have allowed him to change the type of poll to allow people to select more than one if they owned more than one type.  So, in my opinion, this was the best solution and hopefully everyone that voted before will return and vote again.  As of right now, 92 people have voted, so I think voter turnout has gone well.

Shouldn't be any surprise - they're only the most gorgeous bus ever built.

What type of bus do I have?   It's an inter-city. That's a road coach. Actually I don't have a bus, it's a coach. Busses have seats.

For a better count try the pictures section, count them yourself.
I tried but my feet got cold so I put my shoes back on (I got to 20) and quit.

moderators can we please sticky this poll

Who's going to pay for this do-over?  Would the Eagle owners agree to a caucus?  Could we just take half of the first poll and add them to this one?
A curmudgeon's reputation for malevolence is undeserved. They're neither warped nor evil at heart. They don't hate mankind, just mankind's absurdities. They're just as sensitive and soft-hearted as the next guy, but they hide their vulnerability beneath a crust of misanthropy.
