the P8M4905A did not air up so Unless she wants to take $2000 for it I'm going to pass on it Too many issues for me to get bogged down in

my dad offered to help out when I told him the $$$ I have saved and I told him the only way I would take his help is if we got a 4501

I don't want a bus with a K$$$$$$ conversion I got 2 small kids something like "Custom Coach" is useless to me. I might as well get out the hammer my self and beat on the walls

I don't care if the coach has 5,000,000 mi on it. My last one did It worked fine

I may have a beer pocket book But I drink Kulmbacher EKU 28,or 27
I leave the champagne to people that like fizzy grape juice

Just curious, did it not air up with the engine mounted air compressor?  Did you try airing it up with a shop type portable air compressor?  Jack

well a lot of people told me here. If it did not drive. It was worth scrap value. On Thursday I'll air it up. My van is down now (cant drive over there) and It's takes me a few days to get parts out here

If it airs with a home compressor then I'll offer her 2K $1500 is the scrap Value everyone agreed here so $500 for the stuff in the bus It(the stuff) might be worth more than $500 but all of it is untried So if it was striped off the bus and laying in a pile What would It be worth? With around 10K I can get a bus that will do what I need it to do. Without havening to work on it for 3 months\

I did see a ok 4501 goo for 9K 3 months ago

yeppp... 19k sorry.......bet if you showed with 15 it would be yours.

I am not usually in the position but I have found that if you show up with a reasonable offer and a stack of hundred dollar bills, the seller is quick to accept.  This is especially true after all the tire kickers and dreamers with no money have come and gone.

I've seen this bus in person in April 2006.  He didn't mention it being for sale then.

Do note that I bought a 7.5KW Onan diesel generator from him when I was there in April 2006 that had been in the bus.  I suspect the generator is no longer there unless he bought another one.  The ad is probably old and wasn't updated.

dmv's  have no base to assess a value of any coach, Seated or  converted.

most states will reqwuire a VIN verification if brought in from out of state......DO NOT have this done by the DMV.

Either case...a seated coach or a Motorhome title.......put a sale price that you are OK with paying taxes on......(I'm OK  giving   some money but not all of it...LOL)

they will have no idea what it is worth, what condition it is in or it's value.

if someone calls you on it say that it was a junker, burnt, misisng an engine  or    some other "story"

GIft letters generally  do not  cut the muster anymore......and often draw attention to the deal by management.

I don't remember the numbers, but when I titled #945 in NC from FL it was very little, seems like I paid $75.00 plus fees.

I was just offered a running, drivable PD4501 here in Summerville, Alabama for $3500.

I got no information on it, I got no phone number, I got no nuttin'.

The guy came up to me and was talking to me at the flea market here. He likes old buses, and likes our 4103 because of the front end.

I told Cat, (the wife), what he wanted for it and she wasn't impressed since we just bought an MC9 that we have to go start converting soon up in Chattanooga.

If you want more information, get in touch with the flea market here, come down and spend a weekend at the flea market with a sign up letting people know what you are looking for and see if you can make a deal.

Right now it looks like we'll be here a few more days so if I see the fella again, I'll ask him.

pics and info or it didn;t happen....LOL

you should have bought it just for the value of the parts.

Kyle would have paid twice that for it

Doug,

You missed the part where Cat wasn't impressed.

That puts the KI-bosh on anything I'm interested in.

After all, I do have to live with the most perfect, Venus-est like lady that was ever borne by the onion of man and woman!

That trumps whatever I feel about a new GMC.. I was lucky to talk her into our 4103!
