Well, It looks like Jack finally got tired of messing with those nasty old MCI's and decided to try something different.

It's not converted yet, but it dies have a wet bar and a galley!

In the video, you can also see the troubles he has getting it home, including the flat tire and being taken over by itinerant, irate MCI owners.
However we do see it work out for the best.

What kind of bus is that? Real weird design, with a tail fin even.

I was told the tail fin would make it handle better in the turns and get better mileage. Not sure what I was drinking back then, but it must have been pretty strong because I have absolutely no reconection of the incident.  Jack

I didn't realize the Oscar Meyer Weiner bus went back that far!  When did they stop making whitewalls for big wheels?  A set like those on an old Flx would be so nice!

Jack, you think we believe that?  You just didn't want us to know you had that cool bus.  What other secrets are you hiding?  Was Paula one of your back up singers or was she a groupie?   ;D ;D

Looks like something a prop designer made while looking at a Futureliner and an old Yellow Coach parked next to an ACF Brill....on a runway no doubt..... :)

Hey Chaz,
Did you see the front wheel skirts on that one?

Definitely looks like it started out as a GM Futureliner.  8)

The question is this Jack; are you bringing it to the Bussin' 2008 Rally?

Definitely not a futureliner. This one has a single wheel on the front, and tandem duals on the rear.

Love those skirts. Would love to have some rear skirts like that on my bus. Anyone know how to make
fiberglass skirts and want to give me a lesson?

Did you notice the price of gas?  16 cents!!

You been hangin out with Chaz again :D  could been some home brew.

Thanks, Dallas,  That was quite entertaining :D :D :D
It's all fun and games til someone gets hurt. ;)

Love the design-especially the tail fin with mock jet engine in front-must of been just when jets were coming out.  Nothing like a straight pipe on a straight six gas engine.  Good Luck, TomC

What is this, Pick on Chaz thread????  ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D LOLOL

I've seen that clip before. That is one neat old bus!! I think it resembles an early Futurliner also. But I don't think it is. Regardless, how cool would that thing be!?!?
I'm not a big fan of "bubble skirts" but they would be the easiest to do on the front. Skirts that would follow the wheel would be the trickest, but a ton of work. You think if I did my bus up like that, when I'm dead and gone it would be worth anything??  :-\

If Jack was hangin out with me, it would have to have been a "big red" (Cab., Merlot, Red Zin, etc.  ;D ;D ;D ;D) Altho tonite, I believe I have a Kaluha and hot milk scheduled!!  ;D lol

By the way, anybody know the movie "A Walk in the Clouds"?? There is a bus in there that a buddy of mine LOVES!!!! He actually started a winery because of that movie!!! No kiddin!! It's been open 1 year and is getting RAVE reviews!!! Several wine awards already and the food is unbelievably good!!! Anyway, he wants things that are in that movie. I already hooked him up with a couple trucks.
The bus looks like a Brill from what I remember, but I'm not sure.

  Wierd is good,
