As I mentioned a while ago I popped an air line off an acc reservoir causing a huge air leak. I bought some new fittings and put one on and tested and it all airs up decently again. I still have a leak from the left wiper switch though and it drives me nuts.

Is there a procedure to clean or rebuild the switch?

Dave -

Try spraying some silicone lubricant into the switch's intake port before you start tearing things apart.  Could be things are just gummed up a little.

If that doesn't work, it's probably less expensive to replace the switch than to mess with trying to rebuild it.  These things are/were used on all types of buses with air wipers, be it a highway, transit or skoolie, so they're available from most of the major suppliers at reasonable cost.

Oh, and while you're at it, you can also now get intermittant switches for the air wipers, if you're interested.

Hey Russ, Who is the manufacturer of these intermittent wiper switches and do you know what the part number(s) is?

Ahh, Brian Diehl. Another author of an interesting web page. I also read that one over and over before I bought my bus too.

Blessings and curses on all of you who inspired me to pursue this infliction!  ;D

Well actually BK, I lurked here and on other places for quite a while before speaking up and I read many posts so you did have something to do with it.  Soooo, blessings and curses to you to!!  ;D
For that matter, everyone here and on BNO and MCI yahoo group and others are all responsible to a degree, just some are worse than others and promote it via web pages to hook newbies like me! I think that a portion of my money must be shared by everyone who lures us in.
