Quick question about LP

Can a stove that is made to run off natural gas run on LP or does it require a bunch of mods?
And for the inverse, can a BBQ that runs on LP be made to work on natural gas? I'm guessing a different regulator would be needed?
Isn't LP just a refined natural gas?

You have to change the regulator and each burners orifice.  You can buy the conversion kits for your stove, it is a pretty simple modification.

LP Gas is mainly a Propane and Butane mix where Natural Gas is mainly Methane

It depends on the stove. I bought one house style stove that you just turned a knob on the top of the internal regulator to N or LP and then adjust the air.

Dave, both Stan & Buddydawg are right in that is is a pretty simple operation. MOST (not all) gas appliances are either field adjustable to either type or can be field converted to either type with purchase of a conversion kit. That said, MAKE SURE YOU UNDERSTAND WHAT YOU ARE DOING!!!! Gas of either flavor is nothing to play with, especially in an enclosed, moving space such as your bus. You will be sleeping, eating and living in that same space. You want things right! A simple mistake here can result in carbon monoxide poisoning, fire, explosion, and/or death.

When I was still in the business, I would do conversions for under $100 (usually $40 or $50) depending to the appliance. If you are buying the appliance, most dealers will sell you what you want already setup.

Not trying to scare you, but don't want to lose you either.
