Carrier 7.5" low profile rooftop users

Is anyone using the new Carrier 7.5" low profile rooftop air conditioners. Do you like them and how is the interior noise level? Is it better than the standard units. Thanks. Steve C.

Well, we just replaced one of our rooftops with one, and next weekend, we're heading to the Jersey Roundup, so we'll get a chance to try it out then.  I'll let you know what we think.  Christy Hicks

I have two of them installed, two and half years now. Work great.

I have three of them installed.  They are noisier than I had thought they would be.  I don't think they are any louder than the full height (I had on there before).  there is nothing like total silence, but noise is better than oppressive heat. 

All and all, I am very happy with the units.  I think they are a lot  better looking than the taller units, and that low profile helps with a tall bus.
