Speed Switch??

Anyone know what this is? I have a light that comes on intermittently. Usually when I am stopped at a red light. It doesn't seem to make any difference in the performance of the bus. This is on my 89 RTS with DDECIV 6V92 and ZF tranny.

I sure have enjoyed driving this thing today! This is the first time I have driven it since November. It's just as smooth as silk. It almost makes me feel bad that the only reason I am driving it is that I am getting it ready for a new owner.

Well, I found out about the speed switch. It apparently has something to do with the rear door and nothing to do with the engine. It is supposed to come on. Guess I just never noticed it on the few times I drove the bus before.
