Christy,

We are excited too.  We spent the weekend in the bus and have it "functional".  That is about the nicest way to put its current condition.   :)  Just a warning, we have 4 kids and a working dog!  The dog is very well behaved, the kids....?  ;D   My "friends" that will be there are my parents and long time campers.  I am sure they will enjoy the rally.

We have a 76 MCI 8 that had a previous conversion.  Who knows it may have been a New Jersey machine.   I plan to gut it this winter and start over.  I am hoping to hear and see the way to get it done.  I am also looking forward to good conversation and great coffee.  I'll bring the coffee.   :)

See you in a few weeks!

You'd better! From what I hear Christy drinks her first pot while still in bed, and doesn't share! LOL! (Probably even with poor ol' Larry! LOL!)

Christy,

How many busses do you expect to be there?

Bryce,
I roast my own coffee.  I'll bring plenty of fresh green coffee beans to roast and grind.  The coffee will be my contribution to the roundup!  I might get someone else hooked on roasting coffee.  My dark roast might even get Christy out of bed before the first pot is gone.   ;)

Well, we reserved 12 spots, and I think we are getting close to being full by now. . .there will be a few non-buses, so I would say probably about 8-10 buses when it all comes together.  I've got a few that indicated they are coming, but who have not reserved their spots with the campground, so it's still a little iffy. ???  The campground is willing to try to squeeze in a couple of extra, perhaps with only electric, if necessary, so we'll see.  I let everyone know the count when we get really close.

Hmmmmm, good coffee?  hahahaha.  It's true, I don't get out of bed until I've had a couple of cups!  :D Larry only drinks 1/2 cup in the morning, and most of that is creamer and sugar! :P  Our typical day starts at the coffee pot going off at 5:15, and the alarm at 5:30.  I drink about four or five cups of coffee, while we lay in bed, watching the news and weather, checking my e-mail, etc.  Larry gets up at 6:30 to go grab a bite, I usually talk to Margie, my office manager, on Messenger while I drag my sorry butt out of bed and to my exercise bike, nick-named, "Devil Bike".  By 7:15, I'm usually ready to ambulate out the door and around the corner to our office, which is about a block's distance, ha ha.  If it weren't for the creek and VERY tall hill, we could walk out our back door and go about 800' to get there, but instead, we go the long ways,  :D

Now, I gotta tell you, I drink my coffee fairly weak, but boy, Margie, talk about strong coffee!  Even my guys, when they come in and get their cups filled, take a sip, grimace and shake their heads to get through that first mouthfull. ;D

I'll look forward to "being converted",  :D :D.  Talk to you soon, since, yes, it's time for Devil Bike! :'( Christy Hicks
If chased by a bear, you don't need to run faster than the bear, just faster than your companion!

Got any pickers coming?  Not Nose or steat

Coops6

Captian Ron,
I pick a little.  Most of what I play is hymns or contemporary Christian stuff, but I can follow along with you.

Christy,  good coffee doesn't have to be strong!  I will bring my best sack of Costa Riccan Terrazu.  Starbucks sells the same bean already roasted.  It is almost as good as mine.  ;)

I did reserve a spot with the campground.  I am still waiting to hear if our guests are coming.
