In the S.F Bay area they have the B.A.R.T. (Bay Area Rapid Transit). Well back in the late 70's early eighties I lived around Vacaville/Fairfield area 50 miles north. Fairfield had the: "Fairfield Area Rapid Transit" bus... F.A.R.T  it was painted in 2 foot tall letters on the side. It didn't last long.

A small island (accessible only by ferry)  right off the coast of SW Florida started a volunteer Fire Department several years ago. Island Fire And Rescue Team.  Yep, that's right I FART  They wear their T shirts proudly (and generate money for equipment through T shirt sales).  Jack
