8v71 engine cradel bottom firewall side bolts??

hey guys been busy doing my engine swap going very good so far< intill my doner engine cradel has diffrent <ears> or rear bolt holders that mount the cradel to rest on  the firewall<anyways those should be preety much interchangeable right 4 bolt to take the cradel mount off the firewall and put the 1s that came out of my doner in< any1 ever done this chage over befor?i thout it would be a direct switch so far so good<
my bus is a 1970 4905 8v71   my doner bus is a 1967 4107 8v71 so far  all looks like a easy swap? any ideas shot them my way

Paso One

hi John I took a 8V71 from a 5305 with the old style mounts and I measured them against the new style mounts on a 5307 and they will both mount up on the firewall ( same bolt Pattern)  and they are spaced the same distance apart But i'd have to go check the cradle differances to see if there is any. Both buses are reasonably handy so shoot the question if you want me to measure anything.....

thanks for the reply really was just making sure that it can be done and that someone else has done this i did the measuring and i think all looks good, thanks john

i did not take any chances i swaped cradels also  so i know have the 4907 engine on my orig 4905 cradel got it ready to go in but i craked the front water pump cover it will be some time now befor it goes in!
