This would be cool to paint with your favorite university mascot and go tailgating at a college game.

Very possibly, David, but I don't have any free weekends for football.  Cripes!  I'm lucky to catch a local High School game on a Friday night! :D

But, given the time...it's be a fun idea to have at a Clemson game some Saturday!

Is that old bus for sale?  I'd like to find something similar that I can chop, shorten, and make a cute toad out of.

Nice Dodge Bus,

Used to have a 41 Dodge Pickup, kinda cool with a 283 and 350 trans.. I had it perfect until some lady decided to change the front of the perfect grill, totaled.

Would make a nice TOAD. ;D

I don't know.  It has been behind my house for 3 years at a guy's carpet store.  You want me to ask?

Hi Gumpy,
WOW!!! Your wants, needs wishes, requirements, desires (pick one) sure change over a short time. Wasn't it just last week that you were asking about an Expedition for a toad? It's sure a nice thing to dream, but, it's also good to have someone in our lives to bring us back to reality. I have gotten to the point where I tell myself that I can start a new project as soon as I finish the one I am working on now. That puts the damper on.
Good luck and keep on dreaming. Sam 4106

He Sam,

It's not a toad, yet. It's a project.  I've thought about building a custom toad like that for several
years, but I know better than to go out and actually look for something like this. I might actually find
one.

Hey, don't tell my wife about that little damper thingy you do. I'm still getting away with it.  ::)

Wow....does kinda beg for a "project bus", doesn't it?  Wonder what kind of smaller in-line Detroit would fit....maybe a 453T.....with a Jake naturally!  He he he... :) :)

I don't even think I would put an engine in that one. I might just gut it out and cut open the back and make a trailer out of it. It has a neat shape to it as it is.

Shorten it a little and put the body on a late model 4x4 chassis, and it would make a way koool toad! ::)

That was kind of my thoughts.

I've got a 91 Explorer 4x4 that I've been contemplating sending to the scrap yard. Needs a head gasket and could use a tranny overhaul, but it would make a decent chassis for a project like that.
