The same coupon and other MCI parts/service coupons are on MCI's website under parts specials.

I wish I was close enough to an MCI service center to take advantage of the $99 special.  C&J charges a lot more, but they will lubricate everything which MCI may not for the $99 price.

yeah that 99.00 is just oil and filet not Lube.....which should be done more often than oil changes IMHO.

They of course peobabbly do not have the proper spec oil for the majority of us either

I would have to imagine that MCI would have the proper CF-2 two stroke oil.  MCI sold two stroke motors for more years than they have sold four stroke motors for.

I suppose MCI is trying to get folks in the door for other services besides just an oil change kinda like $14.95 oil changes at dealers.

Dadabing CACHINGGG! What do we have him, for a prize Johnny ?!?!?

Brian you are exactly correct! And not only will they just change yer oil & filter, but as they spend way to much time going over what other repairs are needing done. They will be in the area of each and every grease fitting that they will not touch!

Also they will try to charge you extra for "special oil" instead of the "house brand" they carry in bulk! And if your lucky they'll actually use what you request! But I've heard of them charging you for the "special requested oil" that they don't even have, and just using their bulk oil and giving the excuse that with "todays new oils" that you don't have to worry about those problems anymore! Wrong! But it's happened more than once! Remember it wasn't that long ago one of our members who got snowed that way by ABC in LA when he purchased the oil & filters from them for his coach! Guess what? ABC has been dealing with 2 strokes longer than 4 strokes too! The folks I've talked to say it cheaper to ignore those "coupons" and take your coach elsewhere and pay the standard rate to have it serviced!

Now I live in a small town in the NC mountains, in fact sooo small that our 7-11 closes at 5 o'clock. I have a deal with a local oil change outfit where I furnish the oil, the filter and they do the lube of the major fittings (king pins, steering and U-joints...the stuff it isn't safe for me to crawl under the bus for) and they charge me $35.  I always leave a $5 tip for the pit man.

But, they alway call the town newspaper and ask them to send a photographer over to get a picture of this big bus conversion in their bay.

So far, the photographer hasn't shown up so I've not been in the paper...but the guy who owns the place dreams of having his business on the front page of the Daily Blah and some free advertising.

Who am I to argue with his dreams?
