And also what the max horsepower is for these 6V92's? I was told 375 by my friend but i would like to here from you guys!                             Thanks  Chris

Most coaches come with somewhere around a 65 or 70, with a hp rating of 275-300. Putting 9G90's in a 6V-92 can boost it to 350HP if you have all the right bits and pieces in the engine. If not you will get a little more power and a lot of smoke. To make a clean 350hp the engine needs to have 1.05" cylinder ports, a 38 tooth gear on the blower drive, standard timing,a by pass blower, a turbo with an a/r of .95 to 1.08 on the exhaust side and a fuel modulator to prevent smoke untill the turbo boost is up. 9G100's would probably make 375hp, but I don't think you could get it off the line without a lot of smoke. Plus it would be tough to keep cool.   Donn

its good to see somebody did their home work for a clean 6v92 and Chris tell your friend they have up to 625 hp for marine engines

What year is your rig? Is it a DDEC engine? If its DDEC, I have only seen 60 and 70 injectors and been told at DD that they do not have a larger injector available, period for my engine.

A buddy at Courtwright Diesel in Tacoma showed me a DD download that I could have that is 450HP. He looked at my engine and said I have all the right parts already, except that I need a larger air box. The 450 HP flash for the 6V92TA is a coach code and calls for a 60 injector.

I'm happy with the 350HP/2110+150 RPM (2260) flash I now have. It rolls out at 80 if I want and doesn't follow trucks unless it wants to.

How do you tell what size injectors are in the engine. I had heard talk before about tags on the injectors but I did not see any on mine when I had the covers off. I did notice orange paint on my injectors, does that mean anything?
Thanks,

Tom -

When I pull a valve cover on my GM 8V71 to look at the valve train, there is a round tag on the RH side of the main injector body, about in the middle, with a letter/number combo on it.  On your Eagle, on the passenger side these tags would be facing the driver, on the street side they'd be facing the rear of the coach.
