Who's going to the BUSNUSA Rally in Oregon this year?
Depending on my schedule, I might be able to attend on Saturday. Won't have our coach with us but I might be there on business and fly my wife up to join me for that weekend. I grew up in Salem, so I can visit my folks at the same time.

We will be vendors again this year (fourth year).

The logistics for our travels are horrible.  We will be in Rickreall in July, home for big family vacation at a great campground in the mountains of Colorado (have to have the bus there) and back to Redmond, OR for the big FMCA convention in August.

We looked at flying in for BusN USA, driving one of the cars, and taking the bus.  Last week we finally bit the bullet and decided to take the bus and live with the high fuel costs (offset a bit by not having to pay motel bills).

We took the bus last year for the first time and it was sure fun to BS with all of the great folks in the evening.

BusN' USA has been a great show for the first three years and should be again this year.  The food alone is worth "cost of admission".

Glynda McConaughey is really working on getting fun activites for the ladies.  Pat will be doing her class on rubber stamped greeting cards again and the ladies always seem to enjoy it.

I offered to do a seminar on engine conversions like we have done at the last two Bussin' rallies.  I hope we get to do it there, as it is a ton of fun to present and the discussion session has been very active with lots of questions and good answers from the audience.  Have not heard if it is on the schedule or not.

Hope lots of you folks go.  If you do, be sure to look us up at the booth or anywhere on the grounds.

We have a schedule conflict this year, as we need to be in Lake Tahoe that weekend.  However, we may stop by for one night (Wednesday) on our way to Tahoe, just to catch up with everybody.

I hope after this year's rally we'll see more pictures of the buses than the food and people eating. Come on... it is a BUS rally not a food rally. For those of us who aren't able to attend, we'd really like to see the buses.

If it works out that we can attend, you can count on us taking lots of pictures. Hopefully with the owners standing in front of their coach. I will try my darndest to make it happen.
Will have to wait and see how my schedule works out.
Hope to see many of you there!

Paul

I'm dropping in and bringing a spare 13 speed to the swap meet. Hoping to get some Model 20 cap ideas for my fiberglass skills. Thinking about grafting the nose piece or part of the nose piece from a late model Kenworth Aero sleeper or just using the new MCI curved cap. I had a offer from the fairgrounds at Elma Wa. to let us have an unorganized/whatever get togather for free any weekend except the World of Outlaws weekend. They run sprint cars most every weekend so it would be noisy for a few hours. It is also close to a hard sand beach that I have had my coach safely on. (Ocean Shores). So if anyone around Wa.or Ore. would like to start or belong to a bus club or just drop in we have a place.
