well I heard you guys some time ago talk about it... today my battery door fell of,,, glad I was parked.... 83mc-9 njt....

what suggestions do you have????

We used a heavy duty stainless steel piano hinge. Been 7 years and as good as the day it was installed.  Jack

 I had the same experience. No warning at all. The thing just broke!!!! At the time I ordered a replacement rubber hinge from Luke. Eventually I will change to a stainless steel hinge.
Remember, even at a Mensa convention someone is the dumbest person in the room!
