Sunday morning we live on our 1st big trip in Scenicruiser 821. Lot's of motorhome stuff yet to be worked out, but the ol gal is ready to stretch her legs.

Five, count 'em Five Scenicruisers are running route 66 from Santa Monica to Laughlin, Nevada. Should be fun.

Think anyone would notice if we snuck our 4103 in the middle of you guys?   Our bus could be the adopted pet of one of those busses???   Seriously, we sure wish we were able to join you!! Cat

And I assume right up Colorado Boulevard thru beautiful downtown Pasadena, only a couple of blocks from where I used to live. Wish I was still there to see this. It will be a beautiful sight.

Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body. But rather to skid in sideways, chocolate in one hand, a good Reisling in the other, body thoroughly used up, totally worn out and screaming:  WOO HOO, what a ride

I just broke my 1st/2nd shift rod. It's 9:30 on Saturday night. I am supposed to leave my house at 6:00 am tomorrow morning to meet the guys at the beginning of the 10 freeway. Anybody close to Huntington Beach that has a welder? I'll do a new post.
