new kitchen is almost done

I've almost completed my kitchen project, the new sink goes in tomorrow.  I'm kind of proud of the way it's turning out, all solid oak with sliding shelves and self closing drawers.  Took me almost 3 weeks in the workshop but my wife seems to like it almost as much as she liked me out of the house for the three weeks lol. Thanks Nick for giving me the info on how to post pictures, hopefully I can get the instructions straight lol, like I said I'm not too bright.

Thanks Tom, I enjoy woodworking, I just wish there were more conversions in this area, one thing I can't do no matter how hard I try is weld, metal is beyond my limited abilities, I'd trade cabinetry labor for welding labor if I could.

Nick, we live on the south shore of Lake Superior, I'm not aware of any buses even close to us lol, but we do have a large yard and 30 amp power for anyone that wants to burn up some fuel and get involved in some good fishing lol, (bring the welder lol).

Hi Cody....great pics.  If you didn't live way up there where the geese go barefoot I'd do my darndest to do a trade-off with you.  But I left MI in the 60's and still haven't found a valid reason to go back.

Your work, results and attitude should guarantee your family years of comfortable camping and travel.

I appreciate the kind words, I enjoy cabinetry but my work is simple and straight forward dowel joints, my father and grandfather used mortice and tenon and dovetails on all the cabinetry they did, wood, I understand but I can't for the life of me figure out how to set up a welder and wire diagrams are beyond my comprehension, for that I depend on the experts here on this forum, in a perfect world, I would be installing a custom vanity in someone's bus while they replace a rusted support in one of my bays.  Like many on here I'm doing the work myself on a limited budget, it takes time and a lot of research and seems to take forever to do each step but we do what we can. I just wish some of you lived closer so I could take advantage of the skills that seem to be all over this forum.

A bunch of us Nuts need to look into doing bus conversions like Habitat does houses.

Maybe it would make a good "OverHaulin Type" show.. Get sponsors to donate the materials
and a large group do the work in rapid fire order..

Now that would be FUNNNNNNN......

 But it's YOU who lives so far away!! LOLOL   If you did live closer, we would have a deal. Metal and me get along great. I owned a welding fab shop and still have all the tools I need to do anything I want to. And the only wood I can do is "morning wood". LOLOLOLOLOLOL
 Wood to me if MUCH harder to work with as I can't get the joints to match and stay together as well as welding, and if I cut it off too sort, I just weld on another piece!  

 Anyway, keep up the good work!!! Looks great!! Keep the pix comin!!

Chaz, you have the same problem I would have, how to move a complete workshop around, but I do like the idea of a habitat for buses thing.  Once again we hit the perfect world idea, too bad we couldn't all get together for a week or two and work on each others buses, some diagnosing and fixing wiring problems, others doing metal work and others doing woodwork or paint, imagine how much that would save each other in cost if all we had to deal with would be the cost of the materials.
