I just discovered something else.  It appears that the search engine spiders aren't indexing this forum.  Normally you can use a site specific Google search to find what you are looking for in a forum/bbs (sometimes even better than built in searches).  The rest of the MAK site and even the old board are indexed but not this board.

HTR,

That's because no one set up the meta tags for the 'bots and spiders to find.
If you look at the page source, the meta tags are still pointed to the SMF source.

I saw that a few months ago and meant to write up a bunch of names and words to insert then submit them to Phil, but I forgot all about it.

Maybe we can get that taken care of soon.

The file is:   index.template.php

There is a separate copy in each of the theme folders. Each must be modified
to change the meta names.

Sorry that's the way SMF works.

That still won't be too bad.  There are only a few themes installed.  If Dallas provides the meta names, Phil can put them in using copy and paste and it will take less than five minutes.

That was my thought also, plus, while the new server is being set up is a good time to do it.

Hi Larryh,

The search box seems to be working again. I figure it had something to do with the upgrade.

Try theese links for your towing questions.
