I am sure this topic has been debated to death, but most I find are older. Looking for advise for roll on or brush coating for my 77 gmc. I have cleaned it up and primed any bad areas. Looking at Henry siliconized coating. Any body use their product? Thanks, mike

Hey Mike

Ok let me throw something out in left field, is the coating good for reflection to bifacial solar panels also?

I used Magic Rv Roof Coating on my daughters MH 5 years ago,she lives in Texas and they get hail so far it has not failed. You need to watch some of the coatings they are made for fiberglass roofs, and they take a lot of prep work and primer to bond to the metal roofs on a bus.In the past I never had much luck with Henry's living in AZ desert (112f here Friday) it would start to crack and come loose, but the formula could have changed with the newer Henrys,Dicor could make something for metal roofs their sealant for caulking seams is good stuff. You can save money buying through your local roof and water proofing supplier they sell the same thing, I buy from Best Materials in Phoenix the service can suck sometimes but they get it done

When I had my Eagle painted by Mike Wilson I had them coat the roof with TC Ceramics coating. It went on easy, has a slight R factor and held up really well, no peeling or discoloration at all. Posting pics.

Jim Smith used the bed liner on my bus (white)sanded it to have a smooth finish then sprayed clear coat to keep it from yellowing, no telling what it would cost with todays prices to do that
