We started our sixth run to Alaska with the bus pulling a trailer a week ago tomorrow. Last night we pulled off in Whitecourt AB CA. We've covered 2927 miles and have 1589 miles to go. The rig has been running great. At just over 7mpg the trip is about a buck a mile! How's it go? Can't take it with us nor come back and get it. We're doing this run solo as the new to come grand baby is holding out (in) & wild horses couldn't pull wifey away. Life is good.

You are right about money you can't take it with you but sure as hell not going any place without it

Made it to our AK destination in 9 days from Florida. Averaging 489 miles per day. Rig ran superb. Worked it's @$# off on steep 1st & 2nd gear Alcan grades. Used two gallons of engine oil in 4400 miles and cost a dollar a mile for fuel.

You sure didn't let any grass grow under your feet on the way to Alaska. Have a great summer up there. Always wanted to go up there but I don't think my health is ready for those kind of trips.
