My wife and I will both be working full time from the bus this summer as we camp full time. I purchased my MCI-5c Saudi this last fall and removed a bunk and the dinette that the previous owner had in it, so I have the entire wall from the back of the co-pilots seat into the kitchen area free and clear. (I actually need a co-pilot seat if you have one in NoMI!)

Is anyone working from their bus here? I would love to see some photos of your workstations, especially if they convert to something else at the end of the day!

Good evening otto802,
I've worked from my bus for a number of years.  Though, my work area doesn't convert to anything.  It's very minimalist, but does just what I need it to.  I've a small work desk in the back, with a TV over the desk which is used for a second monitor while I'm working, and an entertainment TV at night after work.  In the very back cabinet is mounted a patch panel and network switches.  The bus is hard wired as I like that stability.  Though, I do have Wifi on board as well for the Raspberry Pi media center. The dinette mid-section can also be used as a work area during the day, cat 5e jacks are built in, under one of the bench seats, as are USB and AC outlets.  When my wife is also working, she uses the mid-section work area.  We also have tables up front which can be inserted and used as either work areas or for dining purposes.

Not near the bus so cannot send pics at this time.  If interested, I will forward when I get back to the bus.

Hope this helps, Phil

I just recently installed what we call the Work Station, it is a leftover piece of the original counter top I installed in the kitchen.

It folds down against the wall when needed, I also used 2x4 spacers to set the folding shelf brackets out from the wall to allow the window to still open if needed.

I have intermittently worked from the Bus many times, I use the TV as a second monitor, the work station allows me to spread out a little and have a better working height as opposed to the table that is higher, it also allows the wife to do crafts while I am working.

It is also used as counter space for the kitchen as needed.

I work out of my bus. I had a desk built up with a retractable leaf.

I prefer a simple office with a view out the side windows of my bus. I like to have a lot of windows in a bus as you can read in this article.
