In reinstalling my front wheel after replacing the hub seal, the wheel centers on the hub just fine with the centering tabs on the brake drum or hub, but the holes in the wheel where the lug bolts come through seem to be kind of large. This allows the wheel to spin just a bit because the lug nuts fit flush against the wheel rather than being tapered. It seems like there should be some kind of insert or bushing that would be installed over the lug bolts filling that gap so that the wheel cannot spin. It's almost like a guy would have to choose which side to spin the wheel against prior to tightening the lug nuts. Does a bushing or insert like this even exist? Is this really a problem?

Do the rims have a tapered surface around each bolt hole? I think all  hub piloted wheels, I've seen have the hole just large enough for stud clearance. The large center hole, on coaches is same size for either style of wheel fastening. Old style is listed in inches, while new is listed in mm. Do the math and both sizes are same. Maybe wrong wheels?

They  have spacers ( inserts) for the dual purpose drums ,I have seen those with 2 spacers up to 10 spacers all depends on what the owner had, when you order your drums be sure and order hub pilot drums and they will not have the gap around the studs,Always check MCI and Prevost for brakes drum prices, both can be cheaper sometimes than online suppliers. The Chinese made knockoff drums will cost less than the Webb by 100's but you get what you pay for IMO  I asked a buddy where he got the spacers he said they easy to find but he buys out of CO. from www.tru-bal.com

Check tru-bal.com. they show sleeves that slide over wheel studs. Probably for hub centered wheels.
