Automatic Power Lubrication

It was the 4104s that caught my attention.
Are there any busnuts here that have heard of this product or is familiar with it.
Interesting and just wondering.

I have seen them on semi's for years. They are still available. But for me greasing your equipment by hand is a good chance to look for issues and you still have grease the driveshaft anyway. Not my cup of tea.

Modern equivalents are popular.

Trailers, tractors, regional coaches all have a Groenveld or other competitor.

At least you know there's a chance the attached fittings are getting lubed. With a paid grease monkey these days, not so likely...

In my area in the 70's,80's and into the 90's Ruan and Ryder fleet trucks ran the Lincoln greaser. Still see some auto grease systems on combines and big square balers.

Hang on to farm family owned farms and ranches are getting to be a thing of the past,compenting against the Chinese and other big money sources.I have  great respect for the American farmer and rancher they have 1 good year then a string of bad years and keep on plugging away ,We cannot even buy bacon now that the Chinese don't have a hand in

My 1977 AMGeneral 10240B transit bus had the central lubrication system-you could see the remnants of the multiple lines that used to go to all the lube points. But obviously was disabled years before I got the bus. Best to get under the bus (with the bus on blocks to raise it up high enough so you can get out if the air bags deflate) to check everything out. Greasing every 10,000 miles is sufficient. These new vehicles made today you cannot find a grease fitting.,A 45 ft coach and I have fitting on the slack adjusters only for a total of 6
