MCI Front Door hard to work with - air

I've been thinking for some time about a front door mod but have yet to do anything about it.
What I'd like to do is replace the air actuators with electric ones. Haven't really looked to see if I can find anything appropriate yet. Anybody seen something that would work on a DL3?

Not specifically on target. But here is a video where a guy engineered a leveling system for the airbags using eclectically controlled values. There's two videos related to this, initial and update when it was found to leak down over time.

The question to answer is what happens when there is no air pressure, how do you get into the bus?

While you can go with a linear actuator you would need to provide external contacts to jump it into motion (something you should only know).

I would spend a day or two converting it so the doors open up out of the way.  But maybe that's just me.  ;D
