Catch Can for air box drains on a 2 stroke

My home-made airbox catch can uses two short lengths of clear PVC tube going into the can, so I can easily see how much oil is actually passing from each bank.

After I cleaned both valves that were stuck half-open I made my drain system, using a 96 fl.oz juice bottle that fits neatly inside the rear bumper.   The bottle's cap has a 1/4" hole for air to escape, and it traps all the oil in the bottle.   Elegant it ain't, but it works!

Eagle buses have a boxed engine cradle, on mine I used a Ford vented oil cap and welded pipe collars for connections for the air box  drains and a valve to drain the cradle worked like a charm the years I owned the Eagle. If a 2 stroke is healthy you don't get but a few drops anyways just enough to spot the back of the bus and tow vehicle
