I just picked up a '22 Gladiator a few months back, enjoying it so far!

I sold my cj8 half pickup, there was a lot of interest. Got a 1989 comanche, the pickup version of the Cherokee. Has a Great 4.0 straight 6 engine. The cj8 beat me up to much, the comanche can tow about 1500 lbs more, lvmci...

My wife has driven Wrangler's since the CJ7 ended. You couldn't take her Wrangler away from her. She hasn't had a four door and doesn't want one. We have several four door pickups if a four door is needed. Budd's wife has a two year old Cherokee and has liked it so far. Its her first Jeep.

The wife has had two Jeep Liberties,( 02 the first year of manufacture,,12 the last year and presently.)  She loves her Jeep,, that's why I ran out to find the last year made in 13 to make sure she could have one for awhile.. We also have towed both every where we go with the coach..>>>Dan

I can get a buy on a new 2022 Grand Cherokee loaded, but I am trying to find out why they are on the "do not buy list" firsthand from owners a good deal is not good if they have problems to me

I understand from owners that the electric steering system is plagued with trouble..and the active lane control system..>>>Dan

There are lots of new 2022 Grand Cherokees on the market I found out Jeep suspended the sale of those for a while for electrical problems and quality control on interiors oh well the search goes on the 2022 Grand Cherokee is off the table, the deal is hard to pass on with all the rebates, cash back and % for 5 years

Our 09 GC Limited serves us well. The 1st year that the Vs were corrected for bad valve seat design & the 5.7 Hemi pulls all our trailers with ease. We shy away from newer electronics. Ours has way too many sensors already.
The 08 Envoy is stowed in deep freeze.

Clifford -

We have a whole bunch of 2022 Grand Cherokees in our fleet at Hertz in Spokane, many of which are approaching 30K+ miles with no major problems, having routine maintenance only every 7500 miles. They are actually in greater demand than the Toyota 4Runners, which is somewhat surprising, since Toyotas are often considered "bullet-proof."

Thanks RJ but we passed on the 2022 Grand Cherokees, Consumer Reports don't give one a very high mark,we will probably end up with another Lexus SUV ours has been a good vehicle

Good move, the quality of Lexus vehicles is very high, especially the ones assembled in Japan. The odds of having a problem with a Jeep product are greater than other brands over time. There are always exceptions, but the odds indicate that there are better choices. I have in recent decades stayed away from Chrysler products but I bought a 4X4 Dakota that I really like with the V-8 that has been very good, fingers crossed.
