My bay doors open way wide and up high on gas shocks. No close calls yet and I am in and out of them pretty often. I guess there are those that have and those that will spin a yarn of obscenities when a bay door slows down your head.

However, when I am concentrating on something and try to fly around the corners in the front of the bus at high speed, that fact I always wear a ball cap keeps me from seeing the mirrors. I forget that when the air goes down a bit - so do the mirrors. My head slows my forward motion in a most unpleasant way. I have hung "Remove Before Flight" streamers on them because they are 2 feet long.

(Rita got them for me because I used to fly and she got tired of seeing my bruised head.).

They work...

Gotta go. An hour from carving the bird and Rita is getting PHS (pre holiday syndrome). Those of you married a while know what I am talking about. Those of you not, takes too long to explain....

Lets just say it is not a good day to work on the bus or blog with your bus nut buddies....

I took the larger pool noodles and cut about 12 inch sections and put them on the tailgate corners. Saves my head.

Placing an obstruction on the ground under each front mirror saves your head. A traffic cone, or a nice planter if parked for longer periods.

Walking into the mirrors is way too common, we gotta make it stop!

Happy coaching!
