Alternator not charging

On my 1981MC9 with a 8v92 Is not charging I have changed all relay relay bases voltage regulator. I have 24 V on the positive on the regulator nothing Oldfield coming out of the regulator but if I take the field wire and touch it to the voltage it starts charging any help

They have an air-controlled relay to the field on the alternator to engage the charging have you checked it ?

I replaced the air switch the regulator all four relays and still nothing
